Chris Abbott’s award winning gardens near Knaresborough, were opened again during the Summer of 2006 in aid of the appeal started in her grandson's memory.

Over £2,000.00 was raised last year through plant and tea sales as well as donations from visitors to the gardens.

The gardens were open for the Appeal every Sunday during May and June 2006, and are situated at 'Kelberdale' on the B6164 Knaresborough to Wetherby Road, just after the roundabout junction with the A658, opposite Alders Store.

The gardens have recently been voted in the top 30 favourite in Gardening 'WHICH' Magazine and are really worth a visit!
