A York woman has helped to raise over £4,780 for the Appeal, and is still fund rasing!

Linda Ryder, contacted the appeal back in 2003 and offered to help the appeal by rasing money initially through collection boxes.

This has now snowballed and Linda has held raffles, music nights and dances and rasied over £4,780 so far!!

The latest fund rasier was a 'Bop' night with live music and big raffle, which was held at the in York in October 2004.

A fun night was had by all, and the total amount raised on that night alone was over £1,000!
